Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a data scientist to oversee the informatics architecture for the NIH-funded National Sleep Research Resource (NSRR). The role focuses on large-scale data wrangling, visualization, and documentation of multi-modal sleep and circadian recordings within a FAIR environment.

The candidate will apply statistical modeling and ML to solve problems, train junior data scientists, and present results to senior leadership. Hybrid work arrangement with 40 hours/week on site.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's in Data Science or related field.
• Experience handling large datasets and healthcare data sources.

Responsibilities

• Performs statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling on large data sets.
• Uses machine learning and AI to solve problems.
• Identifies key process drivers when analyzing large datasets.
• Performs modeling, forecasting, and programming using Python or other languages.
• Provides training to junior data scientists and/or analysts.
• Participates in meetings with senior leaders when presenting study results.
