Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a data analytics leader to drive a data-driven product development culture in its Rental Insights and Analytics team. The role focuses on optimizing digital investments, expanding the dealer network, and improving product utilization on a global scale.

The candidate will work with senior leadership, leverage Python, SQL, BI tools, and ML techniques to deliver actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions from the Chicago, IL base.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field required or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional analytics or data management experience.
• Strong skill in BI tools, Python and SQL.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven product development to optimize digital investments.
• Collaborate with leadership and RU Strategy to align BI roadmap with goals.
• Gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and deploy ML-enabled analytics solutions.
