Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Corporation in Johnstown, PA seeks a Senior Data Science Engineer Specialist to collaborate with business leaders, translate problems into data projects, and develop predictive models. Telecommute option may be available.

You will build dashboards, perform EDA, and work with data engineers to ensure quality data pipelines while communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Requires 3–5 years in data science and strong Python/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (stats/math/CS/econ).
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in a Data Scientist or Senior Data Analyst role.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Solid understanding of statistics, ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, trees).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with data storytelling.
• Structured, analytical problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders to translate business problems into data projects.
• Collect and analyze complex datasets to identify insights for strategy.
• Develop and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms.
• Create dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform EDA and statistical analyses to uncover patterns and anomalies.
• Design and run A/B tests to measure initiative impact.
• Partner with data engineers to build data pipelines and ensure quality.
