Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a Data Scientist III for Sunnyvale, California. You will own data science components across products, translating business problems into data requirements and metrics while working with product and technical product managers.

The role requires designing and delivering data science solutions, models, and analyses, and communicating results to stakeholders. The position offers 40 hours/week, with a salary range of $183,000/year to $247,600/year.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent in Statistics, Applied Math, Economics, Engineering, CS or related field.
• 2 years of experience in data science, modelling, or related role (or 5 years with Bachelor's degree).
• Experience building statistical models and machine learning with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own the data science elements of products to inform data-based decisions and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with product managers to influence design and build planning.
• Translate business problems into data requirements and metrics.
• Lead design, development and implementation of data science deliverables.
• Communicate model results to business through documents and presentations.
