Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior data scientist to drive prescriptive analytics and optimization for real-time cloud gaming routing and scheduling at scale. You will build ML/AI and optimization models, apply advanced techniques, and push for real-time decision making across global data platforms.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS with 6+ years in data science, CS, OR or related quantitative field.
• Strong background in probability, statistics, AI/ML, prescriptive modeling, optimization.
• Proficient Python coding, readable, testable, maintainable, extensible code.
• Experience with large-scale data processing on clusters and optimization tools.
• Data cleaning, transformation, and understanding data quality impacts performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy scalable ML/AI and optimization models to improve demand forecasting and capacity allocation.
• Develop reusable data ingestion, processing, and analysis frameworks for real-time interventions.
• Identify data inconsistencies and improve model performance, especially for optimization outcomes.
• Analyze trends and patterns with supervised/unsupervised learning to inform prescriptive solutions.
• Design improvements to real-time prescriptive scheduling pipelines using linear programming and constraints.
• Mine vast data for actionable insights to drive business and engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with partners to design robust solutions and deliver impactful results.
• Leverage agentic AI to enhance automation and programming solutions for analytics problems.
