Job summary

ProQuality Network is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics initiatives and collaborate across the PR Operations organization. You will develop analytical models and insights with teams including Commercial Insights, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and IS, using data science, ML, and AI to deliver measurable business value.

This role requires leadership of projects from concept to execution, strong Python skills, SQL proficiency, and experience with large datasets

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience in data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience in data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Associate degree + 8 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields.
• High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence projects, from identifying business needs through implementation and delivery of results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Independently identify opportunities, assess business needs, perform SWOT analyses, recommend analytical approaches, obtain stakeholder approval, and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof-of-concepts using Python and other applicable technologies.
• Work with SQL and other database query languages to extract, analyze, and manage complex datasets.
• Develop analytical methodologies that effectively address specific business questions and operational challenges.
• Apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to generate actionable business insights.
• Work with large and complex datasets while ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
• Present analytical concepts, project progress, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Create data-driven presentations and business stories using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Collaborate with IS resources, technical teams, business partners, and external vendors to deliver analytical projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, privacy, and data governance requirements, especially in GMP environments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry developments in data science and analytics.
