Job summary

RealmOne is seeking an experienced Data Scientist – Expert to support a U.S. Government customer, applying NLP, ML, and statistical analysis to transform data into actionable insights.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with NLP libraries, and the ability to communicate complex results to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will work independently and with cross-functional teams, contribute to model development, evaluation, and the delivery of data-driven

Qualifications

• Proven NLP tasks: preprocessing, modeling, evaluation.
• Experience with Python NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, etc.).
• Experience with deep learning and generative AI models.
• Experience building ML models for text classification and topic modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins and GPU-accelerated computing.
• Ability to communicate methodologies and results to leadership.
• Experience developing and evaluating analytical methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis using NLP and ML techniques.
• Analyze large structured and unstructured data to identify insights.
• Preprocess and transform datasets for modeling.
• Design ETL processes and table configurations for complex data.
• Query, transform, and analyze data in Oracle DB environments with Python/SQL.
• Develop NLP/ML solutions for text classification and topic modeling.
• Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and business relevance.
• Produce publications, reports, and visualizations for leadership.
• Translate technical results for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists and teams while providing guidance.
