Job summary

STR’s Intelligence Division seeks a Senior Data Scientist to research, develop, and integrate cutting-edge models into production systems supporting national security. You will work with researchers, engineers, and domain experts to analyze diverse datasets, develop AI/ML techniques, and translate findings for customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and communicating technical results. Onsite work is expected in multiple locations within the US, with security clearances

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required by U.S. government.
• MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD in a related field.
• Experience applying AI/ML to real-world, high-dimensional data.
• Proficiency with Python and the ML stack.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze multimodal datasets to identify patterns.
• Develop and apply novel AI/ML models for defense and intelligence.
• Build robust models that generalize to high-impact problems.
