Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models, exposing actionable insights from complex datasets. The role focuses on predictive analytics, GIS-enabled analysis, and end-to-end ML lifecycle management.

You will work with Python, SQL, Power BI, and cloud-agnostic tools to deliver data-driven solutions, dashboards, and strategic business recommendations for diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed in the posting.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or Predictive Analytics.
• Hands-on experience developing/validating ML models in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning techniques.
• Experience in predictive analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps and model lifecycle management.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate analytical results into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy ML and predictive models using Python.
• Apply supervised and unsupervised learning to solve business problems.
• Perform statistical analysis, data mining, feature engineering, and EDA.
• Work with large datasets using advanced SQL.
• Develop data-driven forecasting and analytics solutions.
• Create dashboards and visualizations with Power BI to communicate insights.
• Apply GIS and spatial data analysis where applicable.
• Support end-to-end ML lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring.
• Apply MLOps practices including CI/CD, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Communicate complex model results to technical and non-technical audiences.
