Job summary

The Tombras Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Data Scientist to lead client engagements in advanced analytics, including Media Mix Modeling and Multi-Touch Attribution. You will drive end-to-end projects from discovery to delivery and develop bespoke marketing science offerings.

You’ll collaborate with Analytics, Media and Data-Ops teams, build proprietary tooling, work with household-brand clients, and help scale the analytics practice as the agency grows.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Analytics, or OR.
• Experience in marketing science or advertising analytics is a plus (optional).
• Strong foundation in advanced analytics techniques (regression, time-series, attribution).
• Proficiency with Python, R, SQL and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements for advanced analytics (Media Mix Modeling, MT Attribution, forecasting).
• Develop framework and bespoke offerings for marketing science.
• Create proprietary Martech tooling in partnership with Tech and Media teams.
• Identify data sources to improve models or create new ones.
• Explain statistical results clearly to clients and drive ongoing engagement.
