Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data scientist to design, develop, and implement complex end-to-end data pipelines and forecasting models for health systems utilization and clinical research. Qualifications

• 5+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare or academic centers of excellence.
• Expertise with electronic health records and clinical-care-derived data sources.
• Experience with machine learning, operations research, and data science in a software delivery lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python/R and libraries such as numpy, pandas, scipy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data pipelines, engineered features, and forecasting models for health systems utilization and clinical research.
• Integrate real world data sources to build epidemiological and disease forecasting models supporting clinical trial operations decision-making.
• Apply constraints-based optimization, linear and non-linear programming, simulation, and network modeling to understand behaviors affecting trial outcomes.
• Generate evidence and communicate results at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
• Support the integration, design, and development of measures and metrics to assess model validity and performance across the lifecycle.
