Qualifications

• M.S. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, OR, or related field.
• 6+ years in applied statistics, analytics, engineering, data science, or related area.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL with analytical tools.
• Experience with Databricks and data pipelines.
• Ability to communicate results to senior leadership.
• Experience with large-scale data analytics and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize best practices for continuous monitoring of emerging safety issues.
• Strengthen analytics support for investigations with automated tools and feedback loops.
• Perform statistical analyses to deliver sound and unbiased results.
• Analyze signals and trends to identify potential safety issues early.
• Apply time series, categorical, multivariate analyses and sampling.
• Support anomaly detection, diagnostics, prognostics, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities with software solutions.
• Develop scalable analytic tools and data workflows for efficiency.
• Communicate findings clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Apply business acumen and technical judgment to hazard-monitoring analytics.
• Work independently on complex tasks and mentor team members.
