Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Geo Consumer to lead Product Data Science for Reach Growth, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.

You will define measurement frameworks, conduct experiments, and investigate trends to steer product strategy; optimize geospatial user journeys; build metrics ecosystems and present insights at executive reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 8 years analytics experience (or 5 years with a Master's) and coding in Python/R/SQL.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Data Science for Reach Growth with cross-functional teams, enforcing measurement frameworks, owning experimentation, and investigating trends to steer product strategy.
• Identify and quantify opportunities to optimize geospatial user journeys across entry points and channels by logs-based analyses, running experiments, and influencing stakeholders.
• Model cross-Product Area user journeys and analyze evolving engagement dynamics to close gaps in strategy across Google.
• Define and implement success metrics frameworks to enable cross-Product decision-making and present metrics at executive reviews.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Compensation

• US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Model cross-Product Area user journeys and conduct analyses on evolving engagement dynamics to eliminate gaps in strategy across Google.
• Define and implement success metrics frameworks to enable cross-Product Area decision-making and measure the impact of new growth integrations. Present metrics and insights at executive reviews.
