Job summary

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Science & Advanced Analytics team within the Supply Chain and Planning Technology group.

You will lead predictive and prescriptive analytics across manufacturing, sourcing and supply planning for Nike’s global operations. You will work in a cross-functional Agile squad, delivering models and data pipelines, collaborating with data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to influence product direction and governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience or Bachelor’s with 7–12 years of experience in data science or applied science.
• Deep knowledge of data science and optimization methods, AI/ML, and linear/non-linear optimization.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data handling, modeling, and monitoring.
• Familiar with data science tools and cloud platforms (Jupyter, SQL, Hadoop/Spark, AWS/Databricks).
• Experience building production models at enterprise scale and managing model lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and productionize optimization and analytical models for supply chain decisions.
• Build end-to-end analytical pipelines: ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment.
• Collaborate with global partners to assess requirements and determine best modeling approaches.
• Explore drivers of cost and on-time performance; contribute to sustainability goals.
• Shape analytical platforms by creating reusable components and governance practices.
• Support adoption of analytic products through storytelling and stakeholder collaboration.
• Share knowledge and contribute to best practices in model governance and reproducibility.
