Job summary

DataVisor Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join our Fraud Detection team, helping build scalable ML models and personally leading investigations into fraud events. This dual-track role combines building production-grade detection systems with hands-on case analysis to uncover attacker patterns.

You'll work on end-to-end model development, feature engineering, and large-scale data processing across Spark and cloud platforms, communicating insights to engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied experience in fraud detection, cybersecurity, or related high-velocity risk domain.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with PySpark is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning lifecycle in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fraud detection model development from ideation to production.
• Develop highly predictive features from multi-dimensional data, including user behavior and device intelligence.
• Work with large-scale data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Lead investigations into fraud cases and produce technical reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn findings into detection improvements.
