Job summary

ALEX – Alternative Experts, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support criminal investigations and financial fraud analysis. The role involves designing and maintaining fraud identification methods, cleaning data, and developing scalable analytical solutions.

You will work with investigators to choose strategies and build models using regression, Bayesian, clustering, and ensemble techniques. Required: 5+ years in AI systems and predictive models, 3+ years supporting criminal

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on experience in advanced AI systems and predictive models.
• Developing analytic rules and models using leading edge analytic tools and best practices.
• Developing regression, classification, and other statistical models.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain fraud identification methods.
• Data cleaning to ensure validity, completeness, and consistency.
• Develop repeatable methods to analyze large datasets.
• Collaborate with investigators to determine analytical strategies.
• Develop and tune both unsupervised and supervised models using regression, Bayesian, clustering, and ensemble methods.
• Present methods and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
