Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an experienced data analytics professional to analyze complex datasets in support of Capital Advancements within Markets.

You will provide data-driven insights to product desks and partners, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and collaborate across teams to drive improvements in data quality and process efficiency. The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, a track record in financial markets analytics, and the ability to mentor junior team

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of data analytics experience with large and complex datasets.
• Strong SQL and Python skills are essential.
• Undergraduate degree in a numerate or quantitative discipline; Masters may be preferred.
• Finance/Markets data experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven analysis and insights to product desks and business partners.
• Conduct strategic data analysis to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
• Interpret data across platforms to identify optimization opportunities and improve data quality.
• Collaborate with users to assess and resolve complex system and process issues.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and Technology for clear requirements and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts and associates.
