Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team delivering trusted AI systems for real-world government use cases. You’ll build and validate ML models across diverse data types, implement AI software for cloud and edge, and collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and DevOps, while performing fieldwork at Schofield Barracks and international travel as needed.

You will bring a BS in CS/ML/Math with 6+ years of experience, strong Python and ML library

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or related discipline; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in machine learning and data science techniques, with experience applying them to text data.
• Proficiency in implementing and analyzing data structures and algorithms.
• Excellence in Python; familiarity with TF, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Experience developing anomaly detection algorithms for AI systems, models, data, and workflows.
• Exposure to software development life cycle and tools.
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate machine learning models and custom analytic algorithms applied to image, video, text, geospatial, time series, and structured data.
• Implement AI-based software solutions for cloud and edge environments.
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and DevOps to deliver results.
• Conduct mission-critical fieldwork at Schofield Barracks and travel internationally when required.
