Job Summary:

Booz Allen Hamilton is a company focused on using data science for good, and they are seeking a Data Scientist Expert. In this role, you will unlock insights from complex data sets and lead projects that address global challenges across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact.

• Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle.

• Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems.

• Use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions.

• Provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 12+ years of experience in data science, performing quantitative analysis, developing visualizations, and processing complex data to create data-driven insights

• 4+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architecture

• Experience with programming languages such as Python

• Experience leveraging APIs to query systems and migrate data

• Experience developing and sustaining operational data pipelines supporting multiple data formats and interfaces

• Experience developing dynamic visualizations to monitor availability, currency, and volumetrics of operational data pipelines

• Experience working with AI or ML technologies and data systems

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Preferred:

• Experience working with IT enterprise solutions, Government Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, and Government Non-Person Entity (NPE) certificates

• Experience with analytic modernization efforts such as SOM, Computer Vision, automated collection, or automated reporting and data standardization best practices

• Experience implementing processes, standards, and tools within an organization based on the Scaled Agile Framework

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate challenging technical concepts to both lay and expert audiences
