Job summary

Socure is seeking a highly technical Senior Data Scientist to drive ML innovation for the Document Verification platform. You will develop production ML models, evaluate them, and build scalable tooling for monitoring and automation.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Data Science to deliver data-driven solutions that improve fraud detection, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• : MS/PhD in CS/Statistics/Data Science or related field
• : 5+ years in ML/data science/fraud analytics/product analytics
• : Production ML model development and evaluation experience
• : Proficient in SQL and Python
• : Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, AWS SageMaker or similar
• : Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments
• : Ability to build dashboards and monitor KPIs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve ML models for document verification and fraud detection.
• Analyze product performance, fraud trends, and user behavior.
• Design and run model evaluations using offline and live data.
• Develop tooling for evaluation, monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and fraud ops to translate needs into data solutions.
