Job summary

Falls Technology LLC in McLean, VA is seeking a Data Scientist / Data Modeler SME to join a mission-focused data and analytics environment. This senior, hands-on role centers on large-scale data processing, data modeling, and analytics using clustered computing and HPCC Systems, with at least five years of ECL experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on ECL development experience.
• Strong experience with HPCC Systems and clustered computing environments.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data models.
• Experience processing and analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Experience developing methodologies and algorithms for analytic requirements.
• Experience with parallel or distributed data processing.
• Experience with one or more: Python, R, SQL, Java, C, Pig.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing solutions using ECL and HPCC Systems.
• Develop and optimize ECL code for high-volume, parallel data processing.
• Design and evolve data models for complex analytic requirements.
• Analyze datasets to identify relationships, patterns, trends, and actionable information.
• Develop, validate, and implement methodologies for analytics in clustered environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, developers, and mission users to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Develop processes to transform, cleanse, and prepare data for downstream analytics.
• Evaluate data quality and identify gaps to improve usability.
• Support scalable data pipelines and processing workflows.
• Develop analytics using Python, R, SQL, Java, C, or Pig as appropriate.
• Document data models, methodologies, and processing logic.
