Job summary

Capstone Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support next-generation defense capabilities through mission-focused analysis and solution architecture. You will work with DoW customers to analyze complex multi-domain challenges and develop innovative requirements for command and control systems.

Key tasks include building scalable data pipelines, refining embeddings and retrieval, and delivering dashboards and reports for government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supporting AI development, cyber testing or DoW programs.
• Proficient in data analysis, algorithm development, and engineering analysis.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL data extraction/reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable RAG pipelines with vector search and cyber sources.
• Process large volumes of logs, IOCs, and telemetry to predict cyber risks.
• Refine embeddings, indexing, and retrieval for accuracy and latency.
• Design and execute cyber analysis plans and analytical methodologies.
• Create automated analysis tools using MATLAB and Python to visualize data.
