Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in quantitative analysis and statistics.
• 1-3 years experience analyzing biomedical datasets.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Knowledge of ML, data mining, statistics, signal processing and image processing.
• Ability to explain complex data methodologies to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SDLC and best practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-visibility data science projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Develop and apply advanced statistical and ML methods to diverse datasets.
• Establish robust analytical pipelines, models, and tools for team use.
• Provide input to presentations and publications with rigorous analytic approaches.
• Lead data presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership through code review and best-practice development.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists.
