Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior data analytics professional to lead big data projects and develop predictive models using large, diverse data sources. You will acquire data, validate models, and deliver insights that influence client services and product enhancements.

The role requires strong statistics background, 6–8 years of experience, and proficiency in Python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction and mining. Collaborative, cross-functional work and adherence to standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data and generate insights for client services and product enhancement.
• Implements and validates predictive models and maintains statistical models for big data projects.
• Interprets data, presents results clearly, and supports data-driven decisions.
• Collaborates with partners to prioritize requests and ensure a holistic view of analysis.
• Ensures data acquisition and results comply with company standards.
