Job summary

PNC's Internal Audit department seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design and deliver advanced analytics, AI-enabled solutions, and risk-focused models. You will partner with audit teams, business partners, and technology teams to turn data into actionable insights and improve audit effectiveness.

The role requires 5+ years in data science, strong Python/SQL, ML, NLP experience, and ability to communicate with non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in data science.
• 5+ years of industry experience in data science or analytics.
• Experience leading analytics projects and data product development.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions for Internal Audit.
• Collaborate with audit teams to translate challenges into analytical data products.
• Develop predictive, diagnostic, anomaly detection, and risk-focused models for audit processes.
• Build scalable analytics frameworks and data pipelines for audit lifecycle.
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices in data science and analytics engineering.
