Job summary

Downtown Boulder Partnership is seeking a data scientist to uncover insights in large datasets and build high-quality predictive systems integrated with customer products.

You will apply data mining and statistical analysis, develop ML/DL models, and present findings to customers and internal teams while collaborating with the Data & Analytics group.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and ML/DL techniques.
• Familiarity with deep learning architectures (AAN, CNN, LSTM, RCNN).

We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high‑quality prediction systems integrated with the customer systems/products.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of the Data & Analytics team and will play the role of a Data Scientist.
• You will be working on customer engagements and will be responsible for developing ML/Deep Learning algorithms that provide insights.
• Understand data analytics requirements.
• Analyze datasets, perform exploratory data analysis, and create visualizations.
• Develop machine learning code using Python and machine learning algorithms.
• Test, validate data, and implement algorithms.
• Present findings to customers and internal teams, and keep learning new algorithms.
• Handle customer communications and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Required technical skill set: Python, machine‑learning algorithm development, deep learning – AAN, CNN, LSTM, RCNN, etc.
• Master’s degree in quantitative areas such as Business Analytics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related fields.
