Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Data Scientist III to provide technical leadership across the Analytics function, focusing on AML/CTF models and AI solutions for enterprise use. This role requires deep data science expertise and the ability to explain complex analyses to business partners.

The candidate will work within the US Financial Crime team on initiatives spanning customer rating, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring, leveraging Python, SQL, and cloud-enabled tools while driving model

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science).
• 5+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems to viable data science solutions.
• Collaborate with data/business analysts, software/data engineers to develop scalable data science solutions.
• Lead development, validation, and deployment of ML models; experience with AML/CTF analytics is a plus.
• Communicate insights to decision-makers and stakeholders with clear storytelling.
