Job summary

flaconi is seeking a (Senior) Data Scientist to join our DATA team in Berlin. You will train and deploy ML models, develop Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, and build statistical models to optimize our European e-commerce platform.

You will work end-to-end with business stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues across seniorities in a flat, fast-paced environment. You will handle predictive modeling, NLP tasks, and time-series forecasting, using Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML solutions.
• Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or fast-paced agency environments.
• Proficiency with Databricks as a Data & AI platform and cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical techniques and ML algorithms for regression, classification, and clustering.
• Develop and productionalize Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Use time-series forecasting methods for predictive modeling.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.
• Develop deep learning models with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• Address e-commerce use cases including demand forecasting, churn/CLTV, pricing, segmentation, recommender systems.
• Work with large-scale datasets using Apache Spark on a stack including Python, SQL, Databricks, AWS.
