Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Data Scientist contractor to support AI training and evaluation projects. You will apply expertise in machine learning, statistics, experimentation, and data analysis to evaluate and improve AI model performance.

You will evaluate AI outputs, create datasets and reference solutions, and identify statistical errors and weak reasoning, providing actionable feedback to enhance models.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in technology, finance, research, or a similar environment.
• Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university.
• Strong written communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Based in an English-speaking country.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI outputs across data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems.
• Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions.
• Identify statistical errors, flawed methodologies, and weak reasoning.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model capabilities.
