Job summary

SteerBridge is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Vienna, VA to evaluate aviation supply chain data and build predictive models. The role requires hands-on work with GLM, time series, and ML methods, plus strong data visualization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• MS or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; or BA with equivalent professional experience.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 6+ years in the aerospace industry preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in statistical modeling and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate multi-dimensional aviation data to build predictive models.
• Lead end-to-end data science framing and modeling efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and provenance.
• Develop data quality protocols and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Work on-site in Vienna, VA (3+ days/week) with potential hybrid options.
