Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to join our team in the Washington DC metro area and St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on designing mission-ready data solutions, integrating web APIs, and building interactive visualizations and dashboards to support IC collaborations. The ideal candidate will have a security clearance, a bachelor's degree, and extensive Python experience with geospatial tooling.

Qualifications

• Senior-level proficiency in Python with mission-ready solutions.
• Experience querying and integrating web APIs via Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
• Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
• Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms; strong SQL skills for relational DBs.
• Experience using Git-based version control platforms (GitLab/GitHub).
• Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
• Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.

Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to our team in St. Louis, MO and the Washington DC metro area.

Requirements:

• Senior-level proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in designing mission ready solutions.
• Experience querying and integrating web APIs through Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
• Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
• Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms. Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
• Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
• Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation related to software systems and automated workflows.
• Ability to operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight.
• Familiarity with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures.
• Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories.

Qualifications:

• An active security clearance.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field.
• As a Senior level employee, you will be responsible for - leading, integrating, defining tasks, validating. These positions demonstrate advanced application of their knowledge and skills in their fields and have demonstrated this knowledge and skill in previous work. A senior should be fully capable of meeting all services required without direction. Seniors will be capable of providing direction to lower-level employees and of performing quality control and quality assurance checks on other employees' work. Seniors may provide oversight of fellow Contractor employees from their own company. Seniors are expected to provide advice to Government leadership on processes, procedures, technology, and items of interest. Seniors are also expected to lead collaboration across IC analysts in the performance of services. Such collaboration efforts should lead to better synergized analysis than the sum of the individual parts. Seniors should provide senior level support to office leadership.
