This position will support the United States Postal Service (USPS).

KEY DUTIES
  • Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects.
  • Develop data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • May develop processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required. NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Required Experience: 5 + years of relevant experience reviewing and interpreting application data 2 + years of experience utilizing AI Experience develop processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy Experience developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges Ability to use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes Ability to utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data Evaluate programs, disseminating findings, consulting and collaborating with others, and adhering to ethical standards.

Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting. This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
