Job description

A leading healthcare technology organization that is revolutionizing how primary care physicians manage chronic conditions. They utilizes advanced AI tools to help doctors identify diseases earlier and manage patient care more effectively. They are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their remote team and turn complex data into actionable medical insights.

As a Senior Data Scientist you will lead high impact projects from the initial idea through to company wide implementation. You will be responsible for creating scalable and well tested solutions that solve real world business problems. This role requires a balance between building custom tools and utilizing existing frameworks to optimize speed and quality. You will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders and provide mentorship to junior members of the data science team.

Your responsibilities will include

• Owning large scale data initiatives that improve patient outcomes
• Developing machine learning models and statistical tools to assist in clinical decision making
• Reducing system complexity through clean and efficient code
• Proactively identifying technical risks and project roadblocks
• Communicating data findings to non technical leaders to ensure alignment with company goals
• Driving the performance assessment of new data products

Requirements

• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics Mathematics or Computer Science
• Candidates with a Masters should have at least three to four years of professional experience
• Candidates with a PhD should have at least two years of professional experience
• Expertise in Python SQL and modern machine learning libraries
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through data science
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross functional projects
• Experience with mentorship and code reviews

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to forecast the impact of your projects within the first three months and your ability to drive strategic improvements through data driven strategies over the long term.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is 176900 to 230000 USD per year depending on experience and education.
