Epsilon’s Data Science & AI practice seeks a Senior Data Scientist to deliver advanced analytics and data science solutions with measurable business impact for our clients. Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling
  • Experience with large-scale data environments (Databricks, Spark)
  • Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights
  • Experience with distributed and offshore teams in a global delivery model
  • Strong experience with experimental design and measurement (A/B testing, causal inference, marketing attribution)
  • Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights effectively
  • Experience with cloud-based data environments (Azure, AWS) and data pipelines preferred
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD a plus)
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python is required

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business collaborators, analytics consulting, and client delivery teams to define analytical approaches and deliver solutions
  • Design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions, including segmentation, targeting, and data-driven insights
  • Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to drive customer-level insights (e.g., churn, CLV, propensity, attribution)
  • Design and analyze experiments (A/B testing, incrementality, causal inference) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Find opportunities to standardize analytics approaches through reusable methodologies and frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with offshore data science teams, including task prioritization, work allocation, and QA
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Apply modern ML techniques and leverage Generative AI and advanced experimentation where appropriate

Epsilon’s Data Science & AI (DSAI) practice within the Analytics Services team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to deliver advanced analytics and data science solutions that drive measurable business impact for our clients.

In this role, you will focus on solving complex business problems such as customer segmentation, campaign optimization, churn reduction through a combination of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimentation. You will work closely with analytics consulting, cross‑functional partners, and global delivery teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions, ensuring high‑quality and efficient execution across a distributed team model.

As a senior team member, you will guide analytical approaches, ensure rigor and quality, and help evolve procedures while operating within a modern, platform‑enabled data science ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling
  • Experience working with large‑scale data environments (e.g., Databricks, Spark)

Compensation Range: USD $76,400.00 - USD $163,200.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
