Job summary

EngineersOfAI is seeking a data science professional to develop action-oriented insights, guide experimentation, and expand self-serve data tools. You will mentor colleagues and communicate outcomes to stakeholders up to the Csuite to influence product strategy.

Full-time telecommuting is an option. The role emphasizes observational causal analysis, KPI design, and cross-functional collaboration with data scientists and product teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with specified experience.
• Experience applying AB testing and experimentation design.
• Strong background in causal inference, statistics, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop action-oriented insights to drive product strategy via causal analysis and experiments.
• Guide AB test design, execution, and deep-dive analyses to maximize learnings.
• Create ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve tools for data access.
• Design and measure team KPIs for quarterly goals and impact.
• Mentor junior data scientists and cross-functional partners.
• Communicate results to stakeholders up to the Csuite to drive action.

Job description

Job Duties: Develop action-oriented insights to drive the product strategy through observational causal analysis and experiment meta analysis, and clearly communicate results to stakeholders up to the Csuite to take action based on the recommendations. Uplevel experimentation practices on the team through guiding design, execution, and deep dive analyses to maximize learnings from AB tests. Create new ETLs, tables, dashboards, and other self-serve tools to enable other data scientists and cross-functional partners to find and interact with data seamlessly. Design, evaluate, and/or measure team level KPIs to enable quarterly goal setting and demonstrate team impact. Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and share progress on work at all stages to ensure alignment between DS and other teams on business goals and outcomes. Mentor more junior data scientists and business partners in data science best practices and methods to increase data literacy and improve decision making. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
