Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
• 2+ years of involvement on reliability, test improvement and data analysis of mechatronic, ideally mechanical systems (including internships or academic lab work).
• Experience with data manipulation in Pandas and PySpark.
• Experience in building intelligent visualizations and dashboards using Matplotlib, Seaborn, Bokeh, Scene, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate across disciplines.
• Solid foundation in applied measurements and data science.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of new performance metrics based on physics of operation to reliably predict test behavior.
• Access and quickly run analyses of large datasets by writing and pre-building Python code.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings across teams.
• Lead studies to forecast data-driven service fixes, replacements, and maintenance needs.
• Proactively improve and maintain projects based on feedback from broader engineering groups and integration with Data Science, Design, and Test teams.
