Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Manager of Data Science for Merchandising Category Analytics in Charlotte, NC. You will lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers, turning opportunities into scalable analytics and AI solutions that improve decisions and business outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in a quantitative field, 8+ years in data science/analytics, and 3+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
At least eight years of experience in Data Science, ML, or analytics with 3+ years in leadership.
Strong knowledge of analytics methods, A/B testing, and Agile development.

Responsibilities

Shape the Data Science and AI portfolio aligned with merchandising priorities.
Partner with Merchandising and leaders to identify value opportunities and translate needs into analytics solutions.
Lead design and deployment of scalable pricing, assortment, forecasting, and category insights solutions.
Advance AI/ML innovation, including generative AI, to improve merchandising decisions.
Oversee end-to-end delivery from discovery to production and value realization.
Scale capabilities with reusable methodologies and MLOps practices.
