Job summary

DOD Cyber Crime Center in the United States seeks a Data Branch Chief, Architecture Management Division (XTA) to lead data science activities within the Directorate of IT. The role oversees the Data Branch, ensures regulatory compliance, and guides cross-functional teams across complex analytics projects.

Qualifications

• FOREIGN EDUCATION: show proof credentials deemed equivalent to U.S. education.
• Accrediting institution must be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs the Data Branch activities within the XT Directorate, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and alignment with customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities with staff under the Data Branch.
• Advises employees on policies, procedures, and directives from management.
• Leads cross-functional teams across DC3 projects on data science initiatives and future analytics work.
• Represents the Data Branch and Director of IT with DoD entities and other government partners as the DC3 Senior Data Scientist.
