Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist Lead for its Home Lending Data & Analytics team to support Originations. The role requires translating complex data into actionable insights and delivering data-driven stories that influence decisions at all levels.

The ideal candidate will be a recognized thought leader with a consulting background, able to inspire others and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business strategy, analytics, or data science.
• 2+ years of experience in business management consulting.
• Strong experience with SQL (query/procedure writing).
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, R, or Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and solve obstacles to business goals using advanced analytics and data science skills.
• Recognize and communicate meaningful trends and patterns in data to drive decisions.
• Serve as a data expert and consultant to the predictive modeling team, identifying and validating data sources.
• Advise business and technology partners on data-driven opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Interface with Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing to gather information.
• Extract and analyze data from various sources using complex SQL queries.
• Summarize discoveries with data support and tailored messaging for diverse audiences.
• Mentor junior team members and interact with business leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, detail orientation, and results within the team.
