Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Product Data Steward to enhance data quality across Prime and Parts data. You will profile, score, and model data attributes, using automated methods to detect and resolve critical exceptions, while partnering with engineering to build scalable profiling logic.

You will design dashboards to monitor data health, apply statistical models, and ensure data standards align with business rules for Prime product data across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in data-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong skills in data profiling, quality scoring and governance.
• Experience profiling Prime product data and building data-driven rules and models.

Responsibilities

• Profile Prime product data using SQL and Python to identify anomalies and quantify impact.
• Design dashboards and visualizations to surface data health trends to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Apply automated rules and statistical models to triage data quality exceptions at scale.
• Collaborate with Data Quality Engineering to build reusable profiling and reconciliation logic.
