Kemper is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to design scalable data validation frameworks and automated testing for enterprise data solutions. You will lead validation across pipelines and CI/CD deployments in Snowflake, Oracle, and AWS environments, ensuring governance and compliance.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted test development, data profiling, and collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and BI teams to support Power BI reporting and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field.
• 6+ years in data engineering, data testing, or DB development.
• SQL development and query tuning capabilities.
• Automated data testing and validation methodologies.
• Informatica and IICS for ETL testing and data integration.
• Snowflake data warehouse architecture and validation.
• Oracle database systems and data reconciliation skills.
• Data modeling, normalization, and data profiling techniques.
• Handling XML and JSON data structures; AWS cloud exposure.
• Python-based automation; end-to-end test strategy experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data testing solutions with automated validation pipelines.
• Validate data accuracy and reliability across enterprise datasets.
• Create automated reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Embed testing controls into ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake, Oracle, AWS.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Support test environment strategy across development to production.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in QA processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI teams for testing requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
