Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Data QA/Tester to validate data pipelines and transformation frameworks built on Snowflake and dbt. You will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability for data engineering outputs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data testing, strong SQL, dbt testing experience, and hands-on Python automation; familiarity with Fivetran ingestion validation is a plus. This 13-month+ extension role requires US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Testing / Data QA / Data Engineering Validation roles.
• Strong SQL expertise with experience writing complex validation queries.
• Hands-on experience testing dbt-based transformations, including schema tests, models, and snapshots.
• Understanding of dbt project structures and workflows.
• Snowflake experience with data validation, reconciliation, and large datasets.
• Experience building automated data testing frameworks using Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows, version control, and code reviews.
