Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Senior Data Program Management Specialist (Finance) to lead end-to-end data programs that improve commercial performance. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver trusted data products, dashboards, and metrics, translating complex business needs into scalable solutions.

You will focus on driving sales effectiveness, incentive outcomes, and channel performance while ensuring governance and high-quality documentation across multiple workstreams in a hybrid Charlotte, NC

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data program management, analytics delivery, or related roles.
  • Technical fluency to partner with engineering/analytics teams and translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Proven experience with Power BI, SQL, and analytics tooling.
  • Strong track record delivering complex analytics programs on time across multiple stakeholders.

Senior Data Program Management Specialist (Finance)

As a Sr. Data Program Management Specialist within Honeywell's Commercial Data & Analytics function, you will be a pivotal leader in shaping and delivering data programs that improve commercial performance and enable smarter, faster decisions across the business. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales operations, analytics, and technology, translating complex commercial needs into scalable data solutions and measurable business outcomes.

You will partner closely with senior leaders across business groups to align priorities, drive execution, and ensure data products (dashboards, datasets, metrics, and analytical solutions) are trusted, adopted, and impactful.

You will report directly to our Sr Director of Data Program Management and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.

In this role, you will elevate how Honeywell plans, measures, and optimizes commercial execution, helping teams improve sales effectiveness, sales excellence execution, incentive outcomes, channel performance, and resource allocation through world-class data program delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial data program - Own program scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery health across multiple workstreams. Establish clear outcomes, success metrics, and value realization plans tied to commercial priorities
  • Drive commercial analytics initiatives that support sales growth and efficiency - Partner with Sales, Sales Excellence, on initiatives such as:
  • Sales incentive plan analytics & performance measurement
  • Sales headcount allocation and coverage modeling
  • Territory planning support and productivity insights
  • Translate business questions into data requirements, solutions, and actionable insights
  • Enable executive-ready insights and decision support - Deliver concise, well-structured storytelling using data-supporting leadership reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain executive-facing artifacts (one-pagers, scorecards, KPI definitions, program updates)
  • Strengthen data quality, governance, and operational excellence- Partner with cross functional sales teams to ensure:
  • standardized definitions, lineage, and documentation; data quality monitoring and issue remediation; scalable, reusable data assets and metric frameworks
  • Program communication and change enablement - Manage stakeholder communications, release plans, training readiness, and adoption tracking.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation in knowledge repositories to sustain and scale solutions
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3+ years of experience in data program management, analytics delivery, commercial operations, or related roles
  • Technical fluency-able to partner effectively with engineering/analytics teams and translate between business and technical contexts, including working knowledge of:
  • Power BI (semantic models, dashboards, KPI scorecards) - Sales Excellence concepts and execution enablement
  • SQL (querying, validation, reconciliation)
  • Program delivery tools: JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet (and/or similar)
  • Proven experience leading complex programs in analytics, data, or commercial operations with consistent, on-time delivery across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
