Job summary

SMX is seeking a Palantir Foundry and Databricks SME to lead the technical authority on a legacy systems modernization effort for enterprise data pipelines and integration patterns. You will translate requirements into scalable designs and configurable business rule engines within an enterprise data platform, shaping how the Army builds its financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities include building data ingestion pipelines, transforming data within Palantir Foundry and Databricks, and

Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret Clearance (or higher).
5+ years of data engineering with hands-on Palantir Foundry and Databricks.
Deep expertise in data architecture, building and optimizing data pipelines, data modeling, and Python scripting for data transformation.

Responsibilities

Architect and build governed data ingestion pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources.
Develop reusable data transformation, validation, and summarization logic within Palantir Foundry and Databricks.
Engineer secure, bi-directional integration patterns to post and retract data from legacy ERP systems, preserving them as the authoritative system of record.
Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs, scalable data models, and configurable business rule engines.
