Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and lead the architecture of our enterprise data platform, spanning ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption layers.

The role drives the strategic direction of data infrastructure, sets standards for data modeling and lifecycle management, and partners with data engineering, analytics, ML, and business stakeholders to deliver a coherent, scalable data foundation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with architecture focus.
• Deep expertise across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong knowledge of lakehouse, formats, and streaming systems.
• Hands-on production experience with Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
• Experience with governance, lineage, and catalog capabilities.
• Cloud, networking, identity, and cost-optimization fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for the enterprise data platform.
• Establish standards for data modeling, partitioning, and storage.
• Lead lakehouse, warehouse, and streaming patterns using modern tools.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines balancing latency and cost.
• Drive governance, lineage, and catalog integrations (Collibra, Alation, etc.).
• Define security architecture including access controls and masking.
• Partner with ML, BI, and product teams for platform alignment.
• Mentor engineers and architects on standards and best practices.
• Produce architecture artifacts and reference patterns.
