Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) seeks a Data Platforms Integrator (Engineer 4 / Analyst 4) to support the Missile Defense Agency's Next Generation Environment program.

You will advise on data design across AWS, Azure, and on-premises, focusing on secure, multi-cloud data discovery, classification, and access governance. You will lead ARBs, assess databases and data pipelines, and guide implementation of ABAC, ICAM, and DoD-zero-trust aligned solutions in classified environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12+ years of engineering or IT architectural experience, or a Bachelor's with 20+ years in STEM fields.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in analyzing, architecting, and integrating complex enterprise databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, storage, data pipelines).
• Experience designing Zero Trust data protection, including automated data classification, data rights management, dynamic access governance, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) evaluating database architectures and data pipelines against NGE requirements and DoD Zero Trust mandates.
• Assess existing mission applications, relational databases, NoSQL environments, and object storage for modernization and Zero Trust gaps.
• Provide architectural oversight for enterprise data discovery, cataloging, classification, labeling, and tagging across hybrid multi-clouds.
