Job summary

CLA, a top 10 national professional services firm, is hiring a Senior Data Platform Architect to guide platform architecture and engineering across cloud, data, and automation domains.

You will lead a small team of platform architects, set enterprise standards, and collaborate with Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and security leaders to enable secure, scalable software delivery and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, SRE, or infrastructure engineering preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required; degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve platform reference architectures, standards, guardrails, and deployment patterns.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for complex platform initiatives.
• Define enterprise CI/CD architecture standards and automation frameworks.
• Partner with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
• Own platform reliability practices, including SLOs/SLIs and incident reviews.
• Create architecture artifacts and roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
