Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a data engineering professional to design and optimize data pipelines while ensuring data quality and security. You will provide analytical enablement across federal government missions.

You will design pipelines with Spark, Iceberg, EMR, and Kubernetes, maintain data provenance, and collaborate with data stewards, engineers, and mission partners to deliver actionable insights. Strong experience with Python/SQL/Spark is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in data lifecycle engineering and ETL tool development.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem data storage/processing.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Spark for data engineering.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch, NiFi and Palantir Foundry.
• Agile/Scrum experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data pipelines using Spark, Iceberg, EMR, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure data pedigree and provenance to protect data access.
• Clean and preprocess data for advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with data stewards, mission partners and engineers to extract value.
• Support data services with administration and performance tuning.
• Conduct quarterly analyses and recommend data tool improvements.
