Job summary

FieldAI's Cambridge, MA-based FAIRI unit seeks a Senior Data Operations Engineer to lead data tooling, collection, and team coordination. You will build pipelines, run QA, and manage interns who perform data collection and annotation.

You'll own data collection/annotation, SOPs, and lab operations, while supporting demos of FieldAI FFM across robotic platforms and coordinating with the Research Operations Partner.

Qualifications

• Experience in data tooling, collection, and annotation for robotics or autonomous systems.
• Hands-on with motion capture, hardware integration, and QA for data pipelines.
• Ability to train interns/contractors and produce SOPs for operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data tooling infrastructure and QA scripts for data collection.
• Run data collection sessions and supervise interns/contractors on protocols.
• Create SOPs, quality control, and documentation for lab operations.
• Support product demos and adapt tooling for FieldAI FFM demonstrations.
