Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design, implement, and document complex data architectures and models across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL stores. You will support BI, ML, and data science initiatives and guide model standards enterprise-wide.

You will lead data modeling efforts, mentor junior modelers, and help design Snowflake silver and gold layers to enable trusted analytics for multiple departments in the payer industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling/architecture.
• Healthcare domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and document complex data models using ER and dimensional techniques.
• Produce DDL and SQL scripts for views to be implemented by the DBA.
• Lead data modeling reviews and standardize modeling practices.
